Business Diner with H.E. Mr. Francois D'Elzius Ambassador of Belgium to Egypt & his assistant for Visa Section Ms. Suzanna Van Crombrugghe March 03rd, 2024
On Sunday 03 March 2024, the Egyptian Belgian Business Association (EBBA) invited H.E. Mr. Francois D'Elzius Ambassador of Belgium to Egypt & his assistant for Visa Section Ms. Suzanna Van Crombrugghe, to a business dinner with EBBA members.
The event took place at 7:00 pm at Automobile Club, 10 Kasr El Nil Street in Cairo, in the presence of Mr. Rafik Attia; Chairman of EBBA; Board members, and many of EBBA members.
At the beginning, Mr. Attia welcomed the attendees and thanked H.E. the Ambassador & Ms. Suzanna for their good cooperation with EBBA.
Mr. Rafik then passed the speech to Ms. Suzanna, who thanked him and EBBA members for the kind reception. She offered a speech to EBBA members explaining all details related to the issuance of the visa and its updated regulations and answered all members' questions.
After dinner, H.E.the Ambassador thanked the members of EBBA for the beautiful evening and referred again to the re-cooperation with the Junior Businessmen Association and the meeting that was scheduled between the two associations earlier this year, and he felt that it should be postponed until after the month of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr due to the continuation of the events surrounding us and their preoccupation with them.
Finally, Mr. Rafik Attia and the members of EBBA thanked them wishing them all the best.
The event ended at around 9:00 pm. It was indeed a wonderful event that everybody enjoyed.

Annual Ramadan Iftar March 20th, 2024
On Wednesday 20 March 2024 (10th of Ramadan), the Egyptian Belgian Business Association (EBBA) organized the annual Ramadan Iftar for its members and their families as a tradition connected to this special event.
This year, the event took place at "Automobile Club", located at No. 10, Kasr El Nil St., Cairo.
Around 50 members from EBBA - with their families - attended the Iftar.
The event was honored by the presence of H.E. Mr. François Cornet d'Elzius, Ambassador of Belgium to Egypt & Ms. Suzanna De Krombrudgge, Visa Section officer, as well as some distinguished guests from the General authority for Investment & Free Zone (GAFI )
All attendees enjoyed the Iftar in a nice family atmosphere.
It was indeed an enjoyable event.

Farewell Dinner to H.E. Amb. Francois Corner D'Elzius & Mrs. July 15th, 2024
On Monday 15 July 2024, the Egyptian Belgian Business Association (EBBA) offered a Farewell dinner to H.E. Amb. Francois Corner D'Elzius, The Belgian Ambassador to Egypt - and his wife.
The event took place at 7:30 pm at Automobile Club, 10 Kasr El Nil Street in Cairo, in the presence of Mr. Rafik Attia; Chairman of EBBA; Board members, and most of EBBA members.
The event was honored also by the presence of Mr. Yehia El Wathik Bellah, Head of the Commercial Representative Office in Cairo, Mrs. Hoda Galal Yassa, Union of Arab Women Investors President, and some officials from the Egyptian Investment Authority (GAFI).
At the beginning, Mr. Attia welcomed the attendees and thanked H.E. the Ambassador for his good cooperation with EBBA during his mission in Egypt. He wished him success in his new job, wishing to meet again on another occasion in Cairo or in Belgium.
Mr. Rafik then passed the speech to Mr. Yehia El Wathik Bellah, Head of the Commercial Representative Office in Cairo, upon his request to thank H.E. the Ambassador for his cooperation.
Then H.E. the Ambassador thanked him and EBBA members for the kind words and feelings, expressing how pleasant it was during his stay in Cairo among the Egyptians whom he and his wife loved.
After the dinner, Mr. Attia & Board members presented a precious souvenir to H.E. with a farewell and best wishes to him in his new position in Belgium.
The event ended at around 11:00 pm. It was indeed a wonderful event that everybody enjoyed.
